Abstract
By crossed immuno-electrophoresis, 35 antigens of T. rubrum, 26 of T. mentagrophytes, 35 of M. canis and 25 of E. floccosum were demonstrated. Tandem crossed immuno-electrophoresis revealed 2 antigens common to T. rubrum and the other species, which differ within the species. No common antigens were demonstrated between T. mentagrophytes, M. canis, and E. floccosum. The technique for preparation of extracts and production of immune serum is described, and the procedure for the electrophoresis is outlined. Keywords
