Abstract
SN 72129 (2-chloro-b-oxo-a-(4-phenyl-2(3H)-thiazolylidene)benzenepropanenitrile) and avermectin B1 were tested in pear orchards as dormant-season and summer sprays for control of pear psylla, Psylla pyricola Foerster. SN 72129 in late dormant sprays provided control of overwintered adults equal to that produced by fenvalerate, the pesticide currently used against this stage. Both compounds provided adult and nymph control comparable to that of amitraz in summer sprays. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
