Abstract
Protease resistance, a term applied to the inhibitory effect of all circulating inhibitors of CA-7 (fibrinolytic enzyme from Aspergillus oryzae), was determined in 95 dogs. The frequency distribution of normal protease resistance in this population is shown. From the pretreatment value of protease resistance one can predict in the dog a safe but adequate thrombolytic dose of the enzyme. An evaluation of this dose prediction and its value in the control of thrombolytic therapy with CA-7 are discussed. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
