Abstract
A methanol extract of liver contains a factor which has a sparing action on the dietary folic acid requirement of the mink. The effect obtained with the methanol extract is not obtained with vitamin B12 under our experimental conditions. Folic acid conjugates are incapable of replacing folic acid for the fox. Keywords
