Abstract
Guinea-pig anti-Salmonella typhimurium antibodies of the γ2 and γM classes were obtained free of each other, and their properties were studied quantitively. Macroglobulin antibodies were found to be about twenty times more efficient than γ2, in agglutination and opsonic activity in vivo. The cytophilic activity of both classes of antibodies was the same. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
