Tricritical Points in Three-DimensionalModel with Mixed Action

Abstract
We present theoretical arguments (using mean fields and strong-coupling graphs) for a line of first-order phase transitions in the three-dimensional model with the mixed action , where , and verify its existence by a Monte Carlo simulation.
