Abstract
Zosterops flavifrons majuscula from Aneityum, and Z. flavifrons brevicauda from Aore, are new host and locality records for P. vaughani. Exoerythrocytic stages of this parasite are descr. for the 1st time, trophozoites being recorded from basophil and poly-chromatophil erythroblasts, schizonts from these cells and also from normoblasts, lymphocytes and macrophages, and merozoites from a myelocyte. Intraleukocytic bodies of uncertain nature, tentatively regarded as phagocytosed and necrotic merozoites of P. vaughani, are also discussed. Keywords
