Abstract
A technique for measurement of the kinetics of transfer and distribution of K in the left ventricle of the intact animal is described. These measurements, made in dogs, showed an average transfer of 1.9 meq/ of K/kg of left ventricle/minute between plasma and interstitial fluid and 4.1 meq/of K/kg/minute between interstitial fluid and intracellular fluid. Keywords
