Abstract
Photolysis of CBr on a brominated Ni(111) surface was observed. Cross-section values are reported for 0.5-, 1-, 2-, 3-, and 10-monolayer coverages. The observed cross sections and photofragment times of flight indicate that complete quenching of the photolysis does not take place, and that the photodynamics is strongly perturbed.
