Abstract
Comments are made on the distribution and habitat of 17 rare or locally uncommon indigenous taxa. Considerable northward extensions of published geographic ranges are made for Dracophyllum adamsii, Fuchsia perscandens, Hoheria angustifolia, and Thelymitra formosa. The probable relictual status of some taxa having their northernmost distribution in the Kaimai Range is also discussed and mention is made of some Cryptogamic plants coterminal with the above Tracheophytes. Keywords
