Abstract
To assess the mucociliary function in the nasal cavity of children with middle ear cholesteatoma, 31 children were tested using the saccharin method. As controls, 23 children with chronic otitis media and 29 children with no middle ear pathology were tested. It was found that children with cholesteatoma more often had mucostasis. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
