Abstract
A quantum mechanical theory of the solvent effect on radiationless transitions is developed within the framework of a dynamic coupling model. This model allows us to describe the solvent effect on any mechanism of intramolecular radiationless transition, in polar as well as non-polar solvents. Keywords
