Abstract
A case is reported of a patient with typical diabetic retinopathy, but with normal glucose tolerance. Previously reported cases are reviewed and it is concluded that in such patients the diabetes is probably latent, the retinopathy being discovered during a period of natural or induced remission. Keywords
