Abstract
In the pull-through technique of ureteral reimplantation the ureter is divided at the hiatus and pulled through into the bladder. It is then advanced transversely as described previously for megaloureter but the technique also may be used for routine cases. The technique is particularly suitable for ureteral reimplantation in patients with urethral valves and neurogenic bladder. Pull-through ureteral reimplantation also may be used to reimplant the orthotopic ureter in complete ureteral duplication with ectopic ureterocele or with orthotopic reflux. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
