Abstract
Evidence is presented for populating the and members of the excited + rotational band in by the + entrance channel. Excitation functions of the reaction close to 0° and 180° near the Coulomb barrier exhibit pronounced resonances and forward-backward cross-section asymmetries at the energies of these two + resonances.
