Abstract
α-Trimethylsilyl and α-triethylsilyl aldehydes 6 were obtained from trimethylsilyl and triethylsilyl β-bromo enol ethers 1, using a bromine–lithium exchange and a 1–3 migration of the trialkylsilyl group.Keywords
