Abstract

Values of the quadrupole antishielding factor

γ_{\infty}

have been calculated for the

F^{-}

,

{Br}^{-}

,

{Rb}^{+}

,

\Pr^{3 +}

, and

{Tm}^{3 +}

ions, using the method of direct solution of the inhomogeneous Schroedinger equation for the perturbed wave functions.
