Some Cabibbo-suppressed decays of theD0meson

Abstract
Using data from the Fermilab photoproduction experiment E691, we have measured branching ratios for the Cabibbo-suppressed decays D0K¯0K+π, D0K0Kπ+, D0KK+ππ+, and D0π+π+ππ. The data show evidence for several quasi-two-body decays including D0K*+K and D0K¯*0K*0, but not D0K*K+. The relative rates of the charged decays indicates that final-state mesons containing virtual-W+-decay quarks are more likely to emerge as vector mesons than are those containing the spectator quarks. The high rate observed for D0K¯*0K*0 indicates that hadronic final-state interactions play a measurable role in charm decays.
