Abstract
This paper reports a new junction‐stripe‐geometry double‐heterostructure laser, in which the active region is defined into narrow stripe by means of diffusion technique. These lasers have good thermal characteristics, and the lowest threshold current density is 3500 A/cm2 at continuous operation. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
