Abstract
The effects of diets high in carbohydrate or protein were studied on four dogs when normotensive and later when hypertensive. The results suggest that under certain conditions a cardiovascular homeostatic relationship may exist between diet, VEM-VDM and the sympathicoadrenal system. Keywords
