Abstract
Hyaluronic acid in synovial fluid is depoly-merized in untreated inflammatory arthritis irrespective of the etiology. A biochemical method of in vivo assessment of anti-inflammatory drugs is discussed. This method has been used to demonstrate an anti-inflammatory effect of indomethacin and aspirin in man. This publication has 32 references indexed in Scilit:
