Abstract
C. fetus was isolated from the blood of a nonpregnant young woman who had a clinical diagnosis of salpingitis. A description of the isolate of C. fetus is given. An increasing awareness of human infections and capability of growing this microaerophilic organism should contribute to the understanding of the incidence and virulence of this bacterium. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
