Abstract
Charge‐exchange cross sections of low‐energy argon ions in hydrogen are calculated by the semi‐quantum‐mechanical impact parameter method, improved with a better approximation of the wave functions. Cross‐section curves for the reactions in the different states are compared with the experimental curve so that the part of each of the different reactions in the experiment may be evaluated approximately. Keywords
