Abstract
A patient material of 18 children with infections of the urinary tract is presented. L-phase organisms were isolated from the urine of all patients in pure cultures. The etiology of the infections, the symptoms, the various types of treatment prior to and after the isolation of L-phase organisms and some factors affecting the survival of spheroplasts in the urinary tract are discussed. Keywords
