Abstract
A new laser‐induced fluorescent doublet of CsH [A 1Σ+(v′ = 19)→X 1Σ+(v\ = vm)] is reported. The final vibrational‐rotational levels (v\ = vm, J\ = 9 or 11) are near the dissociation limit of the ground X 1Σ+ state. A comparison of the experimentally observed location and separation of the doublet with recent theoretical predictions is also presented. Keywords
