Abstract
A simple method is described for estimation of small amounts of S35-labelled ester sulfates synthesized in vitro. The method is based on the use of Ba(OH)2 for separation of ester sulfates from s35-iabelled nucleotides and inorganic sulfate. Assay systems are described for determination on the micro-scale of over-all sulfurylating activities and sulfokinases present in liver extracts. An account is also given of an assay system for estimating the 3''-phosphoadenosine-5''-phosphosulfate (PAPS)-accumulating activity of liver extracts. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
