Abstract
The reactions , , and , all exciting final states in , and the reactions , , and , all exciting final states in , were studied with 22-MeV protons from the ORNL 86-in. Cyclotron. The angular distributions and cross sections for each of these reactions exciting the same final states were obtained. The cross sections for exciting a given final state by each of the reactions provides an indication of the relative probability for the single, double, and triple pickup process.
