Syndrome of Juvenile Hypothyroidism Associated with Advanced Sexual Development: Report of Two New Cases and Comment on the Management of an Associated Ovarian Mass

Abstract
Two patients with juvenile hypothyroidism and advanced sexual development, one with an ovarian mass, are presented in detail. The possibility that the ovarian mass will regress with adequate thyroid therapy is discussed. It is suggested that adequate thyroid replacement therapy be instituted to test this possibility before surgical intervention is instituted.
