Abstract
The hypersatellites and of zirconium were observed in a conventional x-ray spectrum analysis. The energy separation between the hypersatellites and their corresponding diagram lines were measured, and the intensity ratio was computed. The experimental values are in good agreement with the results of the most advanced calculations, except for the energy of the where the measured value is some 15 eV higher than the theoretical prediction.
