Abstract
Injury to the trigeminal nervous system may induce severe pain states. This study examined the antinociceptive effect of the novel anticonvulsants, gabapentin and lamotrigine, in a rat model of trigeminal neuropathic pain produced by chronic constriction of one infraorbital nerve.
