Abstract
The charge exchange between a completely stripped lithium ion and a hydrogen atom is studied in the framework of the impact parameter molecular approximation for relative velocities lower than one atomic unit. The total cross section shows a strong increase as a function of the energy. The results are compared with theoretical and experimental data of other authors. Keywords
