Abstract
SARCOIDOSIS, a granulomatous process of unknown etiology with a tendency to affect the reticuloendothelial tissues of all organs, running a chronic, usually mild and relapsing course, can produce many confusing symptoms and clinical manifestations. Excellent reviews of the early literature concerning the disease have already been published.
