Abstract
The -edge photoabsorption spectra of Kr, Br in , and Ge in Ge were measured using synchrotron radiation from SPEAR, Stanford's storage ring, which provides a factor of 5× improvement in intensity over a conventional x-ray source. The agreement between theory and experiment is only qualitative.
