Abstract
Thiamin content of skeletal muscle may serve as an index of thiamin nutrition. By use of Silverman''s needle arrangements, between 5 and 15 mg. of tissue can be obtained; least painful biopsies are made on the gluteus maximus. Thiamin content is detd. by the fermentation method of Schultz, Atkin and Frey. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
