Abstract
The yield of from medium and heavy elements, when bombarded with 420-Mev protons, was determined. Chemical procedures and techniques are described and the cross sections varying from 2.2× barn for F to 4.4× for Au are given. Comparisons are made of these results with those of other heavy fragments obtained under similar conditions.
