Abstract
Several experimental approaches have shown that a close correlation exists between the CAP-promoted repression of /3-galactosidase synthesis and the stimulation of RNA synthesis. These findings have led to the conclusion that a polyribonucleotide functions as a component of the regulatory system for [beta]-galactosidase.Keywords
