Abstract
Measurements are reported for the total charge-changing cross sections for 1-25-keV ions incident on a Na vapor target and for 7.5-25-keV ions incident on a Na vapor target. The cross section is 4.2 × at 1 keV and falls monotonically to 1.5 × at 25 keV. The cross section is 9 × at 7.5 keV and rises to 4.0 × at 25 keV.
