Fourier Transform of Deuteron Modulation of Electron Spin Echo Envelope of Silver Atoms in Deuterated Ice and Solid Methanol

Abstract
The analysis of electron spin echo modulation in the frequency domain is studied by Fourier transforming the time domain data. Two systems are chosen for this purpose, silver atoms in deuterated ice and specifically deuterated solid methanol (CH3OD). It is shown that some of the artifacts introduced into the Fourier transform spectrum can be reduced by reprocessing the time domain data. The advantage of this type of analysis over the direct simulation of modulation is pointed out.
