Abstract
Subsampling of recalcified citrated plasma into standard fibrinogen soln. gives the thrombin concn. at any particular moment. This can be converted into thrombin units by reference to correlation curve obtained by adding known dilutions of thrombin to fibrinogen soln. Thrombin generation curves can then be constructed. Expts. indicate that relatively large quantity of normal plasma or fibrinogen fraction are needed for correction of clotting defect in hemophilia. Keywords
