Abstract
There has been a dramatic increase in the use of strategic planning tools in the past decade. Since the quality of strategic planning will be greatly impacted by the quality of the information inputs, increasing attention should be paid to the systematic development of strategic intelligence systems. Examples are drawn from a field research project on these systems. Keywords
