Abstract
The authors demonstrate that the matrix element of the parity-violating potential between the 17/2 and 17/2+ states in 93Tc is expected to be very small (<0.02 eV) because of nuclear physics effects. The small experimental limit of 0.06 eV placed on the matrix element does not indicate an anomaly in the weak nucleon-nucleon interaction. Keywords
