Regge Trajectories for Light Nuclear Systems

Abstract
A large number of nuclear levels in the light nuclei O16, Ne20, O17, F17, C13, and N13 are classified in terms of the Regge trajectories in the channels (C12,α), (O16,α), (O16,n), (O16,p), (C12,n), and (C12,p), respectively. The mirror nuclei (O17, F17) and (C13, N13) have isobaric analog trajectories. The Regge trajectories obtained by coupling a nucleon with the first excited state of an O16 or C12 nucleus are also constructed from the levels of O17 (or F17) and C13 (or N13), respectively. (O16, nucleon) and (C12, nucleon) are spin-zero-spin-½ systems and contain trajectories corresponding to both J=l12 and J=l+12 couplings.
