Abstract
A correction to the 1/N-expansion method in quantum mechanics is presented. It actually improves the convergence when compared to previous versions of this technique, including the 1/N shifted version. By properly modifying the definition of the shifted parameter, the results are clearly better in the first approximation and the method becomes reliable for a much wider class of spherically symmetric potentials. Keywords
