Abstract
The association between [human] carbohydrate intolerance and lipemic disorders was described and a pathophysiological classification based on set theory developed. There appears to be little evidence for a cause and effect relation between carbohydrate intolerance and endogenous lipemia (hypertriglyceridemia). One factor common to both, adiposity, may contribute to their frequent coexistence. This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
