Abstract
A 41-year-old laborer living in an area endemic for coccidioidomycosis developed a uniocular iridocyclitis which was initially nongranulomatous in character. After three months of therapy, iris nodules developed, and progressive deterioration of the eye followed. Culture of the aqueous from the involved eye produced an abundant growth of Coccidioides immitis, which was observed also in the enucleated eye, histologically. A unique feature of this case is that the patient has no other clinical evidence of disseminated coccidioidomycosis. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
