Abstract
As our understanding of the molecular mechanisms driving complex biological processes grows, the role of chemical biology will continue to expand. The 2008 American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology meeting showcased recent progress in the field of chemical biology while simultaneously pointing toward the future of research at the interface between chemistry and biology. Keywords
