Abstract
Amino acid compositions of juvenile Galaxias maculatus (Jenyns) (whitebait), eel and fishmeal were essentially similar, having relatively large quantities of glutamic and aspartic acids and low quantities of cystine and histidine. Major fatty acids were 22:6, 16:0, 20:5, 18:1 and 16:1, a profile indicative of a marine lipid. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
