Abstract
The microwave spectra of trans CH3CH = CH79Br and CH3CH = CH81Br were studied between 8–40 GHz. The height of the barrier hindering the internal rotation of the methyl group was found to be 2120 cal/mole. The electron nuclear quadrupole moment tensor was also determined for both isotopic species. Keywords
