Calculation of Chemical Reaction Rates by Variational Methods

Abstract
Variational methods for calculating chemical reaction rates are derived using Kohn's approach, and are tested on collinear H+H2 collisions. It is suggested that these methods show promise for treating simple reactions in their complete dimensionality.Keywords
