Abstract
Results of a survey of strange-particle production in interactions in the momentum range 4-8 GeV/c are presented. As details of 3-body events have already been published, the results for the most part concern 4- and 5-body events with no missing neutrals. Cross sections for production of the most prominent resonances are given, and the properties of certain quasi-3-body channels discussed and compared with the corresponding states produced in interactions. It is found that the resonance is produced very strongly in unfitted topologies and certain statistical tensors for its production are shown to be in agreement with the predictions of the quark model.
